About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Sales Support Engineer to join our dynamic team at ERIKS in the Tuas West Region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and sales support to our clients, ensuring the successful delivery of complex engineering projects.

What you’ll be doing

  1. Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of company products, systems, and solutions.

  2. Handle project order execution, including purchase orders, supplier coordination, delivery schedules, technical clarifications, and project documentation.

  3. Work closely with customers, suppliers, External Sales, and Internal Sales teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.

  4. Monitor project progress, timelines, and KPIs to ensure successful delivery.

  5. Support the External Sales team in customer enquiries, quotation preparation, follow-up activities, and business development opportunities.

  6. Build and maintain good customer relationships through regular communication, meetings, site visits, and sales support activities.

  7. Prepare reports, technical submissions, drawings, and related project or sales documentation.

  8. Provide technical and operational support throughout the project lifecycle.

  9. Support customer registration and other assigned administrative activities.

  10. Undertake ad-hoc duties and assignments as directed by the immediate superior.

What we’re looking for

  1. Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering-related studies (such as Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field).

  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a project engineering or sales support role, preferably within the engineering industry.

  3. Strong technical understanding and problem-solving skills.

  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

  5. Proficient in project management tools and techniques.

  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  7. Adaptable to changes and willing to learn new skills.
