It can be installed on simplex or duplex pumps, and on turbine or motor-driven centrifugal pumps. It is used for excess pressure service in boiler feeding, differential reducing valve service on motor-driven centrifugal pumps, and for constant pressure service up to 200 psi (1380 kPa).
