Spears PVC and CPVC injection molded class 150 Thermoplastic
Flanges designs combine years of proven experience with computer
generated stress analysis to yield the optimum physical
structure and performance for each flange. Material
reinforcement is uniformly placed in stress concentration area
for substantially improved pressure handling capability.
Resulting products are subjected to numerous verification tests
to assure obtaining the very best PVC and CPVC Flanges
available. Molded CL 150 Flange fittings are coupling devices
designed for joining IPS (Iron Pipe Size) plastic piping system,
where frequent disassembly may be required, and can be used as a
transitional fitting for joining plastic to metal piping
systems. The Flanges pressure rating are 150 psi, water at 73
degree F. Types of flanges are available in one-piece with
socket configuration from sizes of ½” through 8” or thread and
SR thread (steel reinforced) with configuration from sizes of ½”
to 4”. For Van stone Style of two-piece design and Blind are
also available. All injection molded flanges are produced from
either PVC or CPVC materials approved for portable water use by
National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) and the conformance
standards of the material conform to ASTM D1784.
