Harvel PVC and CPVC Thermoplastic Pipes can be installed very
rapidly by virtual of its light weight which results in easy
handling and simple joining techniques. These features represent
a substantial cost savings when compared to other piping
materials. The consistently uniform raw material used in the
production of Harvel pipes, combined with the rigid quality
control system employed, assures every customer great
dependability and long service life. Harvel PVC pipes has proven
to be the permanent answer to many piping problems, from
swimming pools to lobster hatcheries; photographic studios to
chemical plants; salt water disposal lines to drinking water
lines. Harvel CPVC is another rigid piping which has two
highly-desirable characteristics: a) good mechanical strength at
high temperatures and b) relatively low cost. CPVC has a HDS
(Hydrostatic Design Stress) list at 180 degree F, or
approximately 40 degree above that of the rigid vinyl
thermoplastics. For pressure piping applications, it is
recommended for temperature as high as 200 degree F.
